  • Yes, we offer personalized meal planning tailored to your dietary preferences, schedule, and health goals. Using an AI-based meal planning software, we ensure that each plan is enjoyable and creatively matches your tastes. Schedule a free initial consult here to get started with your customized meal plan.

  • During our first appointment called the Initial Consult (60 min) we will review the information that you have filled out and set goals based on what we find. Together we will prepare a nutrition program to support your needs. Our systematic approach is thorough and we come up with a plan together to support you in meeting your goals.

After this there are Follow-Up sessions which are typically 30-45 minutes. These used to help continue to support you and revise your goals as you learn and grow.

  • Our average number of sessions with each client is 8 sessions. We typically work with clients for 3-6 months depending on what the ultimate goal is. We find that consistency and the ability to work through some challenges together head on are crucial for success. So we applaud those challenges that come up, no matter what they are. We view them as an opportunity to practice the new tools you are learning! The duration depends on the level of care, support, and education you seek. You're welcome to continue for as long as you benefit from our coaching and support.

  • Think of it this way: a dietitian is like a doctor for your diet. They're fully certified and credentialed by national and often state boards. Their professional licenses are highly regulated. It takes an undergraduate degree and a Masters Degree to become a dietitian in addition to over a year of full time supervised practice in a hospital setting to continue to hone these skills. Because of this rigorous training, a dietitian has a vast knowledge of the human body, metabolism, and can prescribe Medical Nutrition Therapy to individuals which can be covered by insurance.

On the other hand, a nutritionist is more like a life coach. Anyone can get a certification online and call themselves a nutritionist. There are very few regulations. My cat could get a certification and call itself a nutritionist and put up a website. They can provide general guidance but typically don't have the credentials to work in clinical settings, deal with the true nuances of nutrition, and are unable to bill insurance.

So if you are truly struggling with stubborn weight loss, hormone dysregulation, high blood sugar, prediabetes, diabetes, high blood pressure or something similar and your doctor has suggested that you see a dietitian, you are in the right place.

A dietitian is also a nutritionist but a nutritionist is not a dietitian.

  • During your 60 minute Initial Consult, we discuss all aspects of your lifestyle that contribute to your overall health. This includes your day-day diet, as well as your social and medical history, your sleep, stress and physical activity. We often visit your past diet attempts to see what worked and what didn’t. Generally, in the first session, we do provide a modest amount education based on your underlying medical condition and/or goals. However, the majority of the session is dedicated to gathering the information needed to fully comprehend your current dietary issues, establish why they exist and how we can effectively work with you to resolve them.

Meal Plans are provided free for the first 14 days through an incredible tool called “EatLove”. This is a nutrition intelligence platform that is a modern approach to nutrition abiding by the motto that there is no one-size-fits-all approach to nutrition, their best-in-class technology delivers personalized, on-demand meal guidance that adapts to all lifestyles and food preferences and helps guide the 200 decisions we make around food each day. Their goal is to make good nutrition accessible to all — because food is medicine and meals should bring you joy regardless of your dietary requirements.

Due to the brevity of this initial encounter we continue to use future sessions to further customize this meal plan around the foods you love and enjoy.

Also during this session, we aim to set short-term and long-term goals based on your personal dietary needs to ensure we have a successful game plan

  • As Dietitians and Nutritionists we understand that food is cultural, social, has meaning and comfort, and plays a large role in our lives. There are real challenges when it comes to food as far as skill level and preparation, time available and medical conditions or allergies and sensitivities or preferneces that make it challenging for people to create a life with food that they enjoy, We aim to make that possible. To help everyone learn to love the food that they eat and still meet their goals (and still be able to enjoy that piece of birthday cake if they like at the party! Or a glass of wine on the weekend)

  • At WebRD, we embrace a compassionate and understanding approach to weight loss, grounded in the belief that there are no "bad foods." We understand that life's pleasures, like enjoying a piece of birthday cake or savoring a glass of wine, should not come with guilt. Our focus is on sustainable behavior changes rather than strict calorie counting.

We personalize our care to deliver actionable recommendations tailored to each individual’s unique situation, goals, and personality. We set clear expectations, put patients first, and practice with empathy and kindness, ensuring that every strategy we recommend is feasible and aligned with your lifestyle.

Our innovative approach to weight loss, which we refer to as "less is more" and the MEM (Measure, Evaluate, Measure Again) approach, focuses on adapting and fine-tuning rather than imposing restrictive diets. This philosophy is not about limiting food but about reducing the clutter of rules and misconceptions surrounding eating. We encourage you to rediscover your intuitive eating habits—those innate cues of hunger and fullness we all were born with.

We combine patient education with nutrition therapy to foster healthy habits that are designed to last. Employing safe and effective evidence-based treatments, our goal is to promote long-term behavior change rather than quick fixes. We avoid unsustainable, restrictive diets; instead, we advocate for a weight-neutral approach that centers on improving your relationship with food.

By collaborating closely with therapists and creating an interdisciplinary team, we ensure that our clients receive holistic support that looks beyond mere nutrition. Our goal is to help you mend your relationship with food, make meaningful changes, and ultimately, experience a transformation that goes beyond the scale.
